  • Interpret drawings and plans, and carry out work accordingly
  • Perform MIG, TIG and other types of welds based on project needs
  • Deburr and grind metal as necessary to achieve proper surface texture

Job Description & Responsibilities
  • Setup and safely operate CNC Press Brakes to process/produce quality products
  • Setup and document tooling and safe practices for Press Brake operations
  • Verify accuracy of machine settings to confirm accurate tolerances and machine functions
  • Operators will be required to maintain accurate parts and motivation on routine repetitive jobs
  • During operations, Operator will be required to maintain cleanliness of the machine
  • In-process checks will be required by the operator to maintain all required tolerances and quality
  • Complete all required safety procedures prior to and during operations
  • Communicate all production related items to next shift operators or shift supervisors
Requirements & Qualifications
  • Responsible for operation, proving programs, operating controls, setting all machine functions, and deburr and inspect all parts to assure conformance will be required.
  • Must be able to work from drawings and sketches, read and understand manuals/ specifications or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished products, sequence the operations and set up requirements
  • Skilled in organizing work area before and after parts are processed, stacking completed parts properly on blocks or pallet to eliminate double handling and work efficiently
  • Ability to calculate, blank sizes, bend locations, appropriate tonnage, and tooling for each part being formed
  • May perform other duties as assigned by management.

Job Description & Responsibilities
  • Produce machined parts by programming, setting up, and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine; maintaining quality and safety standards; keeping records; blueprints, engineering plans, materials, specifications, reference planes, locations of surfaces, and machining parameters; interpreting geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T)
  • Plan stock inventory by checking stock to determine the amount available; anticipating needed stock; placing and expediting orders for stock; verifying receipt of stock.
  • Programs mills and lathes by entering instructions, including zero and reference points; setting tool registers, offsets, compensation, and conditional switches; calculating requirements, including basic math, geometry, and trigonometry; proving part programs.
  • Sets-up mills and lathes by installing and adjusting three- and four-jaw chucks, tools, attachments, collets, bushings, cams, gears, stops, and stock pushers; indicating vices
  • Verifies settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample workpieces
  • Maintains specifications by observing drilling, grooving, and cutting, including turning, facing, knurling and thread chasing operations; taking measurements; detecting malfunctions; troubleshooting processes; adjusting and reprogramming controls; sharpening and replacing worn tools; adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes.
  • Maintains continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
  • Documents actions by completing production and quality logs.

  • Proven experience as CNC operator
  • Skill in operating CNC machinery and tooling as well as precision measurement tools
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings
  • Computer savvy with a basic understanding of computer programming and CAD/CAM
  • Mechanical aptitude and good math skills
  • A keen eye for detail and results-driven approach

  • Operate the CNC laser cutting machine and support the production team by assembling parts, operating machinery, bending, punching or sawing of metal products as instructed by supervisors
  • Operate the CNC laser cutting machine and other machinery used in the production process, or assist other machine operators.
  • Select and set up lenses based on material type and thickness, load programs and set machine
  • Set parameters to ensure optimal performance of the equipment
  • Knowledge about shield gases used during laser cutting operation
  • Monitor fill level of bulk tank system and report reordering levels to the supervisor
